On February 27, join us in the Collège Jean-Sauvé cafeteria for a market featuring local food, art, jewelry and clothing vendors.

Black Artisan Market at Kilter Brewing
Come to Kilter Brewing to shop a variety of local Black vendors, including Black Artist Winnipeg’s art prints, jewelry and tote bags all made by local artists.

THREADS: A Fashion Demonstration
During the next Canada Life Free Sunday @ WAG-Qaumajuq, don’t miss the second annual Threads, presented in partnership with Black Artists Winnipeg!
On Sunday, February 9 at 2pm, join us in the Main Hall to celebrate fashion, music, and culture! Threads will feature designers Freweyni Berhe of Weani Designs and Olayinka Adenaike of YNKstitches. This event will include a fashion show, talks by designers, and delicious food from Jollof Life! Plus, explore unique products from our talented vendors: Shirom Arts Collection, Enny’s Hair, and Black Artists Winnipeg.
Threads: A Fashion Demonstration is a celebration of Black History, culture and fashion from across the diaspora during Black History Month. See you there!

Afro Fall 2024
Join us for a day of art, live music and creativity. Celebrate Afro culture by partaking in show-stopping performances and visiting our art display, all at the St. Norbert Art Centre.

Black Garden with WAG-Qaumajuq
Join us for our event Black Garden in collaboration with WAG-Qaumajuq.
From 11-5, visit the rooftop garden market to find clothing, jewelry, art prints and more from local artisans.
In the evening, join us back on the rooftop for a live performance by local legend TOMMYPHYLL and DJ Code-E. We are excited for you to enjoy music and art with us to celebrate the end of July! Doors open at 6:30pm and performances will start at 7pm.
